Prochimica Group completes pre-registration of products under the new EU Reach legislation
REACH stands for Registration, Evaluation, Authorization of Chemicals. It came into force on July 1st 2007 to simplify and improve previous EU legislation on chemicals. Reach is very important since it gives businesses a big responsibility for the management of the risks that chemicals may pose to health and environment. Prochimica Group attaches great importance to REACH and follows its developments using its best resources and giving top priority to adaptation to the existing legislation. For this reason Prochimica Group has completed the pre-registration of all substances it is going to produce or import in the EU. The registration of all substances will be completed between 2010 and 2018 in compliance with the existing legislation.
